Valentine’s Day is a holiday that we all have some thoughts about. Love it or loathe it, it’s hard to ignore it. And honestly, it is such a sweet and meaningful holiday that deserves some acknowledgement. So let’s allow ourselves to truly reflect on the holiday of love.

Valentine’s Day can understandably stir up some difficult emotions, for the most obvious of reasons. And if you’re feeling anything less than optimistic (or even indifferent) about the holiday of love this year, it’s important to make self-care a major part of it.

Valentine’s Day can be a fun holiday no matter what your current relationship status is. After all, Valentine’s Day is about love in all forms. Which includes friendship and self-love. And honestly, we should all be honoring friendship and self-love for Valentine’s Day. No matter what our relationship status is.

Valentine’s Day is such a lovely and sweet holiday. While also being quite a polarizing holiday, for understandable reasons. But honestly, whether you’re in a relationship or not, there is so much to love about Valentine’s Day. Especially when you remember what it’s truly about at it’s core.
