Before we get into my personal opinions, allow me to take a moment to share what really stood out to me about Pavaruni’s business philosophy. I also must say, although I don’t personally live a vegan lifestyle, I’ve actually recently begun seeking out home fragrance and cosmetics that are entirely plant-based and free of animal-derived products. For example, their candles are made from American soy wax. Which actually burns cleaner and produces less soot than the paraffin candles we’re often used to. And because soy wax is sourced from renewable resources, it’s also more environmentally responsible.
I also must say, not only is their packaging absolutely gorgeous, sturdy, and unique, but it was also designed with sustainability in mind. And again, while they did send me an abundance of lovely products to review for free, I’m not being paid for this review. I was also asked to give an honest review of the products beyond my first impressions of the products themselves.
The Pavaruni Experience: My Review
Just in time for the beginning of Spring, Pavaruni generously sent me quite a few of their delightful products to try out. For today’s review, I received six of their essential oils, a candle, and a reed diffuser set. All in such lovely floral, woody, and earthy fragrances, which I must say are all perfect for Spring. But what I personally received is also perfect for year-round use as well. Although that’s my personal opinion as someone who prefers floral and earthy fragrances in general. Especially as I find these types of fragrances to be quite elegant and elevated, but also season and occasion-neutral.
Honestly, the fragrances I received are so timeless and elegant, and they’re the fragrances I always gravitate toward when I’m choosing a fragrance for perfume or body products. Namely, I received products scented with lavender, rose, jasmine, chamomile, cedarwood, and sandalwood. All the essential classics. I also have to say, the lovely navy blue Pavaruni packaging with gold foil and white writing just screams luxury. Especially with how solid the boxes are, and how unique the packaging looks and feels. But, honestly, what really matters here is the fragrance products themselves. Not just the lovely presentation of the products in their recyclable packaging.
So I’ll be reviewing each of them for you today, with my honest opinion.
The Essential Oils From Pavaruni
Essential oil diffusers are actually one of my favorite ways to add fragrance to my room, especially as they’re one of the safest ways to fill your space with fragrance. Especially if you’re looking for something flameless to provide aromatherapy as you drift off to sleep. Or to enjoy without actively needing to monitor a candle flame. Especially if you have kids or pets, although you’ll still want to supervise them around the essential oils. So I love that Pavaruni offers essential oils that can be used in a diffuser.
You can even get creative and create your own blend of fragrances by adding a few drops of various scents to your diffuser. Seriously, no one said you can’t make a fragrant bouquet or a lovely forest in your diffuser. That’s the beauty of essential individual essential oils, honestly. But Pavaruni’s essential oils are also each so lovely on their own.

My Review
For transparency purposes, I must say that I didn’t fully get to test the essential oils in my diffuser for this review. I couldn’t find the cord for my diffuser for the life of me. However, I did still take the time to smell each of the six scents that I received, and they’re all so lovely. All of the scents that I received were so sweet and natural, and exactly what you’d expect with natural essential oils.
But with that in mind, I would like to say that the Rose and Lavender smell much different from what you may be expecting if you’re not familiar with natural rose and lavender essential oils. They’re still lovely, but they’re a bit different than what you may expect if you’re used to products that are simply lavender or rose-scented. Please, just keep that in mind if you do choose to purchase these essential oils. I actually personally prefer true lavender fragrance over what’s often marketed as lavender in room sprays and body products. But that’s just my personal preference.
Honestly, I’d love to add the floral essential oils to a bath, as they can also be used cosmetically if diluted in water. Just please note that the Cedarwood and Sandalwood specifically state not to use them on your skin at all. So please read the labels on each of Pavaruni’s oils before using them for anything other than home fragrance, as not all of them are intended for use on the skin. It seems that the 100% pure essential oils can be used cosmetically when diluted, but not the aromatic oils. But again, read the label on your chosen scents before adding them to a bath or to another product.
The Reed Diffuser Set From Pavaruni
Reed diffusers have snuck up on me as another favorite way to make my space smell lovely. Especially as they actually make for lovely decor pieces, and can add to the visual aesthetic of your space while also constantly releasing fragrance into your space for months at a time. I also like that you can adjust the intensity of the fragrance by adding or subtracting reeds from the diffuser. And again, it’s another lovely flameless option that doesn’t need to be supervised, so they’re perfect for a bedside table as you’re drifting off to sleep. Reed diffusers are also perfect for bathrooms, and other rooms you may not spend a whole lot of time in, but want to make smell lovely.
Needless to say, I love that Pavaruni also offers reed diffusers as one of their lovely home fragrance options. Especially as I don’t need a power cable or any sort of power supply to enjoy a reed diffuser. And honestly, I also love reed diffusers simply as decor pieces. Pavaruni diffusers even have silk flowers that you can optionally slip onto the reeds to add an additional feminine touch. I also must say, the aroma of the one that I received (Lavender Forest) is also so lovely. Which, of course, is the most important part. I also must say, it’s also quite powerful and fragrant.

My Review
At the time of writing this review, I can not attest to how long the oil lasts in the reed diffuser. I will also say that how long a reed diffuser lasts depends on how many reeds you use, as well as how often you rotate them. So I can’t really review this product for how long it lasts. But what I can do is review how it looks, the lovely scent it gives off, and the intensity. So right off the bat, I’d like to say that the Lavender Forest scent is definitely more of a natural lavender oil scent than what you may think of as lavender, if you’re used to the lavender of most body washes or room sprays. But it’s actually very lovely, and I’m excited to have it by my bed to drift off to at night.
I also absolutely love the design of the diffuser bottle itself.I received a diffuser from Pavaruni’s Radiant Dawn collection, and I love how simple but elegant it looks. Especially with the addition of the 3 floral pieces that slip right onto the reeds. In terms of the fragrance, I will say that it’s very strong. Pavaruni actually does advise to start with one reed due to the strength of the fragrance, and I started using three of the six that were included. It’s not overwhelming, but it is intense. But mind you, I am using it in a relatively small and often closed space.
My only small critique is that I had a hard time getting the cap off, and I was worried I’d spill the oil. But that’s on me for not having the strongest hands. And for initially trying to unscrew it, rather than trying to pull it off, when it’s more of a rubber cork-style cap. Not a screw-top cap; as if I shouldn’t have known this from previous reed diffusers I’ve owned. The cap is also initially sealed with a little bit of plastic to prevent leakage.
The American Soy Wax Candle From Pavaruni
As much as I personally gravitate towards flameless options for home fragrance, I still absolutely adore candles. I’m not going to deny that candles aren’t so beautifully calming, and a lovely way to fill your space with fragrance and warm ambient light. Just remember, candles are best lit when you can stay in the room to enjoy them and keep an eye on them. Candles are beautifully relaxing, just remember to be safe with them. And if you live in a dormitory or any type of apartment complex, please make sure that you’re allowed to burn candles before you light a Pavaruni candle. Or any candle for that matter.
That said, I do still find so much joy in lighting a candle as I settle in for a cozy afternoon or evening. Especially on an afternoon or evening when the weather isn’t quite cooperating. And while we’ve entered Spring, and the Winter weather has mostly begun to taper off, we’re now in the stormy Spring season. So I’m delighted by the fact that Pavruni has lovely earthy and floral candles that smell like Spring to enjoy as the thunder rolls and the rain pours outside. Their candles are perfect for elevating my survey taking, cozy gaming, blog writing, and creative sessions.

Best Practices For Safe Candle Burning
As a content creator, I would like to strongly endorse the best practices for safely burning your Pavaruni candles, or any candle for that matter, to protect the safety of my readers. I sincerely want everyone to have the best experience possible when they light their candles, and candle safety is not something to be ignored or brushed off. Also, safe burning practices also extend the longevity of your candles, so you can enjoy their luxurious scent for as long as possible.
- Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each light. This helps control the flame, prevents excessive smoke and soot, and helps the candle burn more evenly.
- Enjoy the first burn until the wax melts all the way to the edges. Candles have a memory of sorts, and extinguishing them before the wax melts to the edge can cause “tunneling,” which can waste quite a bit of wax. So be sure to dedicate about 2-3 hours for the first light to make the most of your lovely candle. Grab a book, some tea, and get cozy.
- Never leave candles unattended. Seriously, don’t even leave the house for a few minutes with a candle lit, and always avoid lighting candles knowing you may fall asleep with them lit.
- Do not burn a candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Pavaruni’s label specifically specifies this, and to wait for the candle to cool completely before relighting.
- Avoid drafty areas, and keep your candle at least a foot from anything that may catch fire. Safety first, my lovely. Even if your candle looks beautiful next to the window with the sheer curtains, that’s not the safest place for it.
- Repurpose your candles when there’s about 1/2 inch of wax left. Candles aren’t meant to be burned to the very bottom. So clean them out and repurpose the jar once about 1/2 inch of wax remains, as the candle has reached its end.
My Review
Honestly, the first thing that I noticed about this scented candle when I took it out of the box was the beautifully detailed jar. This is absolutely the type of jar you’d keep and repurpose once you use up the candle, which ties back into Pavaruni’s sustainability philosophy. Reusing is my favorite bit of reducing, reusing, recycling when I can! But let’s be honest, we’re usually not just buying scented candles for the jar. Though they’re certainly a part of our home decor. But really, we’re buying them for the lovely scent that they fill our homes with.
And I must say, the Ethereal Lavender fragrance that I received is so delightful and calming. It’s perfect for a calming rainy evening playing The Sims 4. As well as for lighting a candle for a deep meditation session or for a tarot reading. I also must say, the Ethereal Lavender does smell a bit more like what you’d expect from a lavender body wash or room spray. While still holding that unique natural lavender scent. This candle is actually about to become my go-to, because the lavender scent is perfect for my entire evening routine when I’m able to wind down and truly enjoy the candle. And something about lavender specifically also speaks to my spiritual nature.
Conclusion
Overall, my first impressions of Pavaruni’s brand are absolutely wonderful. From their Earth and animal-loving sustainable philosophy, to their beautiful product design, to the fragrances themselves, so much thought was put into Pavaruni’s wonderful line of products.
